Finding new's!

so this week elder hunt and i have been really focused on finding news that are going to progress! we have alot of eternal investigators! which means they have something stoping them for getting baptised... usually mariage or some doubt about something... so we have jsut been looking! and it gets tireing sometimes to knock and talk and knock and be rejected but we knew that the blessings would come!! yesterday we went to an inactive members house who is always there!! we went and it was weird because she wasnt there... so we were trying to decied what to do in our plans we had writen down for our back up plan another inactive member that lived close and i said that we should go there but my companion did want to he wanted to go down to a different area that we hadnt worked yet to try and find some news. i have a strong testimonie about planing and planing by the spirit and i told him that im we were really planing by the spirit the lord would put someone in our way! so we dicieded to go to our back up plan trusting that we had planed with the spirit and we need to be over in that area! this family was also one who is always there when we go! but suprisingly enough they wernt. which was really weird. but we knew we were in the right place. so we started listining to the spirit so that we could know where we should go. we went to the next block and knock a door and they were druck and just wanted to take pictures with the north american missionarys... so then we went to the next house and knocked! to our suprise the lady just let us right in and let us sit down!! i noticed satan right then. the neighbors started blasting there music... so many distractions hit right then. but we had to do our best we taught about the restoration and it was good! but then the miricle happened!!! right when we got to the part about the first vision the music shut off! we were able to teach it and the spirit was able to testify!! the music stayed off for the rest of the lesson. we invited her to be baptised and she said yes she has a date for the 21 of febrero! right after she said yes to that date the music turned back on! we are so blessed when we folow the spirit!!

Well a rainy week!!

so we did a lot of working a lot of knocking and alot of teaching! the work is good!!

i dont have much time but i would like to talk a little about selfishness! i have really realized that selfishness is alot of the reason for no doing what we should.weather it be a disobedient missionary, an inactive member, or a non member alot of time we dont do the things we should because of selfishness... if we really care about others and our family and love God we will act on what he has asked us to do. we will be willing to do all of the things we should and we will do them with willingness! watch out for your selfishness!!

ps it rained all week!!

Well, here we are another week!!

So i dont have much to talk about!! it was a pretty normal week! besides the fact that we got bikes!!!!! so awesome!

so im going to talk this opertunity to tell you about some of the investigators that we have!! 

1.arturo, is a blind man who the missionaries have been teaching for ever! he says he wants to know more before he gets baptised! we made a little progress with him when we got him to tell us that it would be in the year 2015! he is awesome and goes to church every week!

2.juan and carla! they are awesome!! they are just waiting to do some paper work so that they can be married! juan needs to stop smoking so yesterday we put a 40 day plan with him! he is going to drop one smoke every two days untill he doesnt do it more! starting at 20! im very excited for him! they also go to church every week!

3.lujan! she is a girl of 10 years!! she is super nice and wants to get baptised! all of her siblings are baptised and her mom but her dad wont let her get baptised...

4.josé moved to capital... so thats about all we know...

5.maria and ana! they are sisters of about 50ish years old! they live together and listened to the missionaries before! they seem like they want to be baptised and to change but they did come to church... they said ana got her molers taken out but we'll see! they need to show us not just tell us...

These are the souls we are really working with right now!! and im very excited for them and have alot of hope!! i love you all! if you guys ever feel like you need a boost in life. or like you just want to be happy go and serve someone! i testify that you WILL feel better! i dare you to try it!!

Happy New Year!

So it was a good week! I have a couple of stories that i would like to share! 

First, is what happened to us at the hazembullers house! we went to eat lunch with this family! well first off i have got to say to alot of the new area that i am in is like really rich! and the live in the rich part! so we knocked on there mansion door and the answered and invited us in! brother hazembuller then invited us to the bathroom so that we could wash our hands! then we got invited to there dining hall! with this big long table and only for seats! i felt so sufisticated! but i also felt like i had to sit up perfectly strainght the whole time to fit in with every thing else! haha we ate an awesome lunch with mashed potatos and milinaesa! but after the dinner brother hazembuller left the room to go get something and he came back with 300 pesos... he handed them to me and said this is for you and your companion to split for what ever you might need! There is a rule that we cant take money from anyone... i told him that and he said i know that god wouldnt disaprove of this because i know that you guys will make good decisions with the money! but its your choice. i told him thank you so much for you genourosity but we cant take this money. he said ok and then we all got up and left. we could have used to money so easily. but i know that we will be blessed for our obedience! 

next, on tuesday we were looking for a less active member! we ask this one drunk guy josé if he knew her and he said no but then we asked him if we could talk to him! he let us in! the night before was the 31st so he still had a pretty big hang over and he was kind of in and out of it! but i invited him to not dirnk smoke or drug for the next 3 days and he excepted! we left because he wasnt in any condition to be taught... we came back a few days latter and he had done it!! we taught him and he accepted it very well! he said he would come to church! so we told him we were going to come bysunday morning to walk to the church together! so we did but we were like 15 minutes late... but it was a little miricle because if we had come at the right time he wouldnt have been able to come! after church he found 1 kilo of copper! that will sell for 70 pesos! his family is in a rough time... they just sold there computer so he took that as an awesome blessing!! he is aweosme and we are very blessed!

i love you all so much! do what you know is right no matter what any one else says!!
